Job summary

Premier Bone & Joint Centers oversees the Materials Team Lead responsible for planning, procurement, storage, and distribution of materials for the ASC and Physical Therapy teams. This role ensures timely deliveries and accurate inventory aligned with patient needs.

Candidates should manage perpetual inventory, collaborate with the Purchasing Manager, and supervise shipping/receiving while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
• 1 year experience preferred
• Current BLS (Must be through the American Heart Association): Preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within patient timelines.
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
• Work with purchasing department to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Manage and monitor storage of purchased supplies.
• Participate in production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts.
• Oversees shipping and receiving functions related to purchased parts and finished goods.
• Work with Procurement Manager to perform write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory.
• Maintains and researches all consumable recalls.
• Maintains accurate data entry in the procurement system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
