Job summary

Atlas-Healthcare-Partners-LLC is seeking a Full-Time Materials Manager to lead the materials management department and oversee regional supply chain projects. Responsibilities include inventory control, PO processing, vendor negotiations, and coordinating repair of equipment as needed.

The role emphasizes leadership, cost reduction, and delivering high-quality service within a healthcare setting. Strong Excel skills and experience with inventory systems are preferred, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in business, healthcare, or supply chain management.
• Requires 3+ years of materials management experience with medical/surgical supplies.
• Effective leadership, organizational, negotiation, communication and human relations skills.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency and familiarity with inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Manages and monitors inventory areas, including PO processing, receiving, expediting orders, updating MMIS and inventory system.
• Coordinates with vendors on new product purchases and trials and ensures contract compliance.
• Performs monthly review of supplies against GL and budget, ensuring adequate inventory.
• Leads and develops staff through training, feedback, performance management and discipline as needed.
• Promotes high-quality customer service and maintains positive relationships with facility staff and physicians.
• Assists with researching and implementing efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
