SurgCenter of Greater Jacksonville, an outpatient surgery center affiliated with United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a Materials Manager. The role oversees procurement, receiving, stocking of supplies, and supports Accounts Payable with invoices.

The position is physically active and requires organization and reliability. The candidate will manage material flow for an orthopedics-focused center in Jacksonville, FL, ensuring efficient supply chains and cost control.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of materials management and budgeting.
• Experience as a buyer in medical materials management or senior buyer preferred.
• Two years minimum receiving and inventory experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Strong customer service background.
• Strong math and counting skills.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm preferred.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) preferred.
• Ability to deal tactfully with staff and the public.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat and lift heavy items.
• Ability to work in a clean and sterile environment.

Responsabilidades
