Job summary

Lambda Inc. in San Jose, CA seeks a Materials Lead to improve inventory accuracy and drive CAPA-driven improvements across ERP systems. You will partner with Logistics to ensure material availability for high-value inventory and oversee asset lifecycle management.

You will develop KPI dashboards, implement SOPs, and use Python/SQL to automate reporting and reduce manual processes, while ensuring SOX/ISO/OSHA compliance. Telecommuting is allowed with some travel.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the role or related occupations.
• Strong experience with inventory and fixed-asset management, CAPA, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Logistics to improve material productivity and availability.
• Improve material utilization and manage daily reconciliations and variance resolution.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Maintain SOPs and compliance docs for SOX, ISO, OSHA, and related standards.
• Manage fixed assets in ERP and ensure proper depreciation accounting.
• Develop KPI dashboards for inventory accuracy and spares utilization.
• Provide proactive reports to guide procurement planning and capacity decisions.
• Leverage Python, SQL, and automation to reduce manual work and improve visibility.
