Job summary

WSB is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician in Oklahoma to join our testing team. You will prepare soil samples and perform lab tests per procedures, record results, and maintain lab organization. This role requires physical effort, including lifting up to 70 lbs, and includes administrative duties.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and can pass a background check and drug screen. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare soil samples for testing according to applicable test procedures.
• Perform laboratory tests according to specs and standards such as Atterberg limits, gradation analyses, proctors, sulfates, HMAC testing, concrete compressive strength testing.
• Record lab results.
• Maintain a clean work environment and keep lab tools and equipment organized and ready for tests.
• Requires lifting and carrying materials and equipment up to 70 lbs.
• Consult with supervisor on test assignments or other related issues.
• Perform administrative duties such as filling up timesheets and expense reports.
