Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Ability to prepare legible reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare soil samples for testing according to applicable test procedures.
• Perform laboratory tests to specs and standards (Atterberg limits, gradation analyses, proctors, sulfates, HMAC, concrete compressive strength).
• Maintain a clean work area and keep lab tools organized for tests.
• Lift and carry materials and equipment up to 70 lbs.
• Consult with supervisor on test assignments or related issues.
• Perform administrative duties such as timesheets and expense reports.
