Job summary

Actalent in King Of Prussia, PA, is seeking a Lab Technician for the Materials Control Laboratory. You will perform routine metallic material testing, prepare samples, operate tensile testing machines, and document results to support material release decisions in a regulated ISO/IEC environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (Associate preferred), experience in a metals/manufacturing setting, and attention to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in related field preferred.
• 13 years of laboratory or quality-related experience in a manufacturing or materials environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing on incoming metallic materials and in-process samples.
• Prepare samples for mechanical, chemical, and metallurgical testing.
• Operate tensile testing equipment, including UTMs.
• Record, document, and organize test results to support material release decisions.
• Follow safety protocols and ISO/IEC standards.
