Job Description

As a Materials Lab Technician, you will support critical chemical and materials testing for quality control in our casting process. This hands-on role is part of the Process Engineering team and involves working with lab equipment, chemical solutions, and technical procedures in a stable, structured environment.

Responsibilities:

· Perform routine testing (e.g., viscosity, pH, specific gravity)

· Prepare and maintain slurry tanks and chemical baths

· Monitor and document shell process data

· Calibrate lab and plant instruments regularly

· Maintain lab cleanliness and proper organization

· Record test results and report out-of-spec conditions

· Support audits and materials evaluations as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures

· Comfortable working independently and within a team

· Must be able to safely handle lab equipment and chemicals

· Prior lab, manufacturing, or chemical handling experience is helpful—but not required

· Training provided for motivated, safety-conscious individuals

· Must be able to pass pre-employment tests
