Rubber Laboratory Technician

7+Month Contract

Overview:
Responsible for conducting testing of raw materials and rubber compounds. Provide technical support to customers, production, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities:

• Operate laboratory testing equipment per written procedures

• Follow rubber product test specifications

• Perform rubber mixing, milling, and compound testing

• Review test data for accuracy and record results in a web-based system

• Enter and react to Statistical Process Control (SPC) data

• Calibrate lab equipment and document results

• Write work orders for equipment maintenance

• Assist in updating work instructions and process changes

• Maintain professional relationships with customers and suppliers

Requirements:

• High school diploma or 2-year associate degree in a technical field

• 2 years of rubber mixing, milling, and compound testing experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
