Job summary

Marand US Holdings is seeking an on-site Stores Associate to manage end-to-end material flow from receipt to delivery to assembly lines. You will receive goods, inspect for damage, unload/load trucks, store and record parts, and maintain stock levels using Kanban and FIFO principles.

You will conduct cycle counts, assist with stocktakes, and allocate materials in M1 ERP to ensure timely kit delivery to workstations. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous stores experience within an engineering / manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in ERP systems (preferably M1).
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow standard work without deviation and to stop, call and wait when issues arise.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Physical ability to perform the inherent requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Receipt goods into the Marand ERP system and unpack deliveries, checking for damage.
• Unload and load trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks in a safe manner.
• Store and record parts.
• Use company processes to maintain accurate levels of stock within the store using processes such as Kanban systems, documents registers and physical stocktaking.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with full stocktakes.
• Follow FIFO principles and processes to ensure products are used in correct sequence.
• Control the flow of materials from the store to the shopfloor.
• Kit parts trolleys for use on shop workstations.
• Allocate kitted materials to job within computer ERP system / M1.
• Deliver kitted trolleys to workstations.
• Inspect workstation racks for empty stock boxes.
• Liaise with production teams to anticipate needs and minimize downtime
