Job summary

Petersen Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to ensure materials are delivered at the right place and time within our production environment in Ogden, Utah. You will handle receiving, moving materials, kitting, and supporting shipping while maintaining accurate ERP records and inventory control.

The role requires high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing. Expect collaboration with Purchasing, Sales Order, Planning, and Production teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Requires strong time management and accuracy in tasks.

• Ability to review work for accuracy and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials into storerooms and move them to meet delivery schedules.
• Kit materials for production teams and assemble orders for production/shipping.
• Maintain inventory records and use ERP to enter data.
• Follow FIFO and identify non-conforming parts for quarantine.
• Support year-end inventory and communicate issues to teams.
