The Parts Kitter is responsible for gathering organizing inspecting and delivering the materials and components required for precast concrete production. This position ensures that production crews have the correct parts hardware embeds reinforcing materials and supplies available according to production schedules shop drawings and work orders.

Oversee maintenance and condition of company facilities including office maintenance quality buildings and yard areasManage receiving storage and staging of materials to support production and field operationsVerify incoming shipments for accuracy documentation condition and proper identificationMaintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely system entry in OracleMonitor stock levels and reorder materials to meet operational demandsCoordinate material needs and schedules with Production Field Operations and Engineering teamsSource vendors negotiate pricing and terms and issue purchase ordersEvaluate supplier performance pricing and quality to optimize procurement decisionsReview purchasing requests and perform cost analysis to support efficient sourcingApprove invoices within authority limits and maintain accurate purchasing recordsOperate forklifts as needed for material handling and storageSupport shipping activities vendor communications and additional duties as required
The ideal candidate is a detail oriented and strategic professional with experience in purchasing inventory management and facility oversight They excel at building vendor relationships negotiating favorable terms and ensuring materials are available to support operational success This individual is proactive organized and adaptable with a strong focus on efficiency cost control and continuous improvement IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE Bachelors degree in business or related field preferred; equivalent experience consideredMinimum of five years of purchasing or materials management experience requiredStrong understanding of inventory control procurement processes and supply chain operationsExperience with Oracle or similar ERP systems or ability to learn quicklyProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong negotiation analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively across departments and with vendorsFamiliarity with receiving and shipping documentation and proceduresForklift operation experience or willingness to obtain certificationKnowledge of production processes and field operations preferred
