Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Materials Inventory Manager in Rhode Island to lead inventory control, warehousing, and receiving for our manufacturing operations.

You will ensure accurate material flow, manage cycle counts, and partner with Procurement, Production, Quality, Finance, Logistics, and Ops to optimize stock levels and reduce waste. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of inventory or warehouse leadership in a food manufacturing or similar environment, with hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years in inventory management or related role in manufacturing/food.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory/management of inventory and warehouse teams.
• Hands-on ERP experience with inventory transactions and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily materials inventory management, cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciliation.
• Manage warehouse and receiving operations to ensure proper receipt, labeling, storage, and transfers.
• Maintain material flow to support production schedules and minimize shortages and delays.
• Develop and enforce inventory control procedures, warehouse standards, and handling processes.
• Monitor inventory levels, usage, aging inventory, and replenishment needs.
• Ensure ERP system accuracy through timely receiving, transfers, adjustments, and data entry.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions with root-cause analysis.
• Prepare and review inventory, receiving, warehouse, and material flow reports for leadership.
• Partner with Procurement, Production, Quality, Finance, Logistics, and Operations on inventory availability and flow.
• Provide oversight, coaching, and training to warehouse and inventory staff.
• Support audit readiness, GMP, safety, and traceability requirements.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
