Job summary

Taco Cranston is seeking a Sr Material Handler for our Rhode Island facility. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and maintaining accurate records of components, while coaching teammates and ensuring efficient shipping and crating in our onsite warehouse.

Candidates should have 7+ years in warehousing, a valid forklift certification, and strong data-entry skills. The position requires daily use of ERP, scanners, and material handling equipment, with a commitment to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to attain forklift certification.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Proven ability to interact, problem solve and collaborate.
• Competent in basic data entry and computer use.
• Learn responsibilities and adhere to procedures within 90 days.
• Strong arithmetic, organizational and lifting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate materials handling equipment and forklifts.
• Coach and mentor other Material Handlers.
• Manage picking and shipping tasks within ERP.
• Pull, stage and ship materials and crates.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and respond to shortages.
