Job summary

Riverhead Building Supply is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accurate stock records and support daily warehouse operations on site in Rhode Island. You will perform cycle counts, organize bin locations, process transfers, and assist customers with inventory inquiries.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and reliable, hands-on work. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred; building materials knowledge is a plus.

• Willingness and ability to perform hands-on, physical work as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely and accurate cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain and organize inventory bin locations.
• Ensure all inventory control procedures and processes are followed consistently.
• Analyze inventory data and prepare reports for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Receive and process incoming materials.
• Label inventory and maintain proper product identification.
• Process inventory adjustments as needed.
• Enter and receive inventory transfers accurately.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and inventory-related needs.
• Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to support daily operations.
• Maintain a high level of organization, attention to detail, and accountability.
