Job summary

Charcuterie seeks an experienced Materials Inventory Manager to lead inventory control, warehousing, and receiving activities. You will ensure accurate movement of raw materials, packaging, supplies, and finished goods, while minimizing discrepancies and waste.

The role requires oversight of ERP transactions, cycle counts, and cross-functional coordination across procurement, production, quality, and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years in inventory management, warehouse ops, or distribution.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Hands-on ERP experience with inventory transactions and reporting required.
• Food manufacturing, cold storage, GMP-regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily materials inventory management, accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Manage warehouse and receiving operations: receipt, labeling, storage, issuance, transfer, and documentation.
• Maintain material flow to support production schedules and reduce shortages.
• Develop and enforce inventory control procedures and warehouse standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, aging, and replenishment to minimize excess or obsolescence.
• Ensure ERP accuracy with timely transactions, adjustments, and data entry.
• Investigate discrepancies, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Prepare inventory and material flow reports for leadership and partners.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Quality, Finance, Logistics, and Operations.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance guidance to warehouse and inventory staff.
• Support audit readiness, GMP, safety, traceability, and internal controls.
