Job summary

SI Utility, an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer, seeks a Materials Manager to own inventory accuracy, heat traceability, and weekly movement reporting. You will work with purchasing and production on the shop floor in Midland, TX, ensuring availability and lot/tracking integrity.

This full-time role requires reading MTRs, managing cycle counts, and coordinating with the Director of Operations to optimize material flow and job allocations.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory, warehouse, or stores in steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing.
• Ability to read and match MTRs and heat/lot numbers.
• Proficiency with inventory reporting and system queries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain on-hand inventory by heat, lot, size, and location in SOS Inventory.
• Receive materials by matching pack slips and MTRs to POs; manage holds/rejects.
• Manage put-away and locations across yards and racks.
• Allocate material to jobs and track unallocated stock.
• Record material issued to production and reconcile transfers and adjustments.
