Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is hiring a Materials Supervisor to lead a team across the Market Place, MMC Warehouse, Receiving, and docks.

You will ensure accurate inventory transactions, optimize material flow, and support ECNs and launches as part of a cross-functional team. You will develop reports and KPIs, participate in Kaizen and 5S activities, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to improve material availability and space utilization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree with five years’ experience.
• 5+ years of front-line supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Experience supervising material handling, receiving, dock, and inventory control teams.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP or inventory control systems and cycle counts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 10–15 direct reports across Market Place, MMC Warehouse, Receiving and docks.
• Train staff to ensure accurate inventory transactions and timely material movement.
• Manage material flow across production, procurement, distributors, and line-side presentation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits; resolve variances.
• Create reports and dashboards to monitor material KPIs and shortages.
