Job summary

The Greenbrier Companies is seeking a Material Coordinator to manage issuance of material to production jobs and maintain accurate records for finished goods and work in progress. The role contributes to timely production and accurate inventory control.

Key responsibilities include monthly cycle counts, detecting and resolving variances, and performing quality inspections to ensure proper order fulfillment and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift equipment.
• Ability to wear PPE (steel-toe boots, goggles, ear plugs, gloves).
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook or equivalent software.
• Clear written and verbal communication, at all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize under tight timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Follows all Environmental Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Issues and scans material and components to production jobs.
• Performs monthly WIP and Finished Goods cycle counts and assists with variances.
• Participates in plant-wide physical inventories.
• Performs quality inspections and validates order fulfillment on inbound material and components.
