Job summary

Prime Controls in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Material Coordinator to manage panel inventory and material flow for production and operations. You will work closely with Master Scheduler, Warehouse, Production, and Suppliers to keep materials available and optimize handling processes.

The role requires experience in inventory control, ERP systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Physical duties may include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods in warehouse

Qualifications

Experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
Proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of material transactions and update systems.
Communicate material requirements with production teams and vendors.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials per safety standards.
Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
Identify and implement process improvements for material flow efficiency.
Collaborate with logistics and shipping teams for timely dispatch.
Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
May involve standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using material handling equipment.
