Job summary

Avancez Assembly in Warren, MI is seeking a Materials Coordinator to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials between production and shipping, according to schedules and department priorities.

You will monitor inventory with ERP systems and Min/Max alerts, communicate with customers about material issues, support receiving and production for on-time delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Business, Materials Management or Supply Chain
• Experience coordinating and expediting material flow
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory control

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels using ERP and Min/Max alerts to avoid production interruptions.
• Communicate with customers regarding material issues and coordinate with production.
• Support receiving and production to ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze variances and identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Conduct inventory counts and support continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate Hot Shots and monitor OSR
