Job summary

MillerKnoll, Inc. is hiring for a Material Handler role focused on proper handling, storage, and distribution of materials in our Hildebran, NC facility.

You will inspect parts, validate manifests, and ensure accurate receiving into the BAAN system while coordinating with team leaders to maintain efficiency. This position emphasizes attention to detail, quality, and reliable communication to support production and logistics, with benefits starting on day one and opportunities for growth within

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or demonstrated performance.
• Ability to read and interpret manifests and work orders.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect part quality in machine room to ensure standards are met.
• Validate manifests and ensure parts completed production processes.
• Reconcile physical counts with documented manifests for accuracy.
• Receive and record materials in BAAN system accurately.
• Organize and store parts by type for easy retrieval.
• Communicate with team when a HOT ticket is raised for priority handling.
• Distribute materials to appropriate locations in a timely manner.
• Perform T-nut insertion during downtime or when possible.
• Reject materials not meeting quality expectations and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with team leaders and QA to address issues.
