Job summary

Miller CAT Corporation in Dallas, TX is seeking a Material Handler to oversee the accurate and timely movement of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility.

You will ensure proper receiving, storage, staging, and delivery to production lines while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required.
• Proficiency with ERP or inventory systems is preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory labels.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against POs and packing slips.
• Unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment.
• Stage materials for production according to work orders and schedules.
• Transport raw materials and finished goods between stations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in inventory management systems.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Label, package, and prepare finished goods for shipment and wrap pallets as needed.
• Maintain organized warehouse and production storage areas.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or safety concerns promptly.

This role ensures materials are properly received, stored, staged, and delivered to production lines while maintaininginventory accuracy and supporting overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
• Stage materials for production according to work orders and production schedules
• Transport raw materials and finished goods between stations
• Maintain accurate inventory records in inventory management systems
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
• Label, package, and prepare finished goods for shipment, including wrapping pallets as needed
• Maintain organized warehouse and production storage areas
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or safety concerns promptly

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Experience insheet metal manufacturing is a plus
• Basic computer skills and experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred
• Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory labels
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, temperature variation as applicable
