Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Materials Intern to support the Materials team by improving material flow, transportation efficiency, and overall supply chain operations in North America.

The role provides hands-on experience with inbound material analysis, freight consolidation opportunities, and developing efficient material flow processes. Minimum GPA 3.0 and pursuit of a bachelor’s in a related field are required. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $37.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, operations management, business or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inbound material, service parts and finished vehicle delivery requirements.
• Identify conveyance inefficiencies and opportunities for freight consolidation and cost reductions.
• Develop and document North American material flow processes.
• Improve efficiency through ergonomic considerations.
• Develop and manage non-compliance reporting.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
