Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field for the internship.
• Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Willing to travel or relocate to Murfreesboro, TN for Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Compile data from ERP systems, spreadsheets, and other sources to support decision-making in the Plan for Every Part process.
• Reduce excess material handling inside facilities, between facilities and to and from local suppliers through value stream analysis and PFEP.
• Support standardization, advancement and implementation of a lean enterprise material flow strategy.
• Work with the Materials and Operations department to introduce, promote, and implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
• Run and compile various reports as well as run various data analytics to understand the data.
• Assist in continuous improvement techniques including Continuous Improvement events and 5S.
