MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Materials Handler Technician to join our team. The Materials Handler Technician distributes and stocks inventory and equipment to assigned areas, ensuring timely supply delivery and accurate handling.

You will work in a fast-paced healthcare setting, verify orders, communicate with staff, maintain organized storage, and support safe, efficient operations. Compensation ranges from $17.92 to $31.36 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to think and work independently and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Previous Materials Handler experience preferred.
• Previous experience in the healthcare industry preferred.

The Role

The Work

• Verifies orders and reviews against items to be delivered to ensure accuracy of delivery.
• Delivers requested items or reports issues preventing delivery to appropriate persons.
• Communicates with internal and external customers regarding inventory levels, availability of supplies, and product identification.
• Documents tracking for distributed inventory.
• Maintains work and storage areas and equipment in an organized, clean, and safe condition.

You Have

Compensation Information

$17.92 - $31.36. The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
