Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Materials Handler to join the Shipping and Receiving team. You will receive, inspect and document shipments, perform cycle counts and move materials to production areas using forklifts.

On-site, full-time role with an hourly wage of $21. Proficiency with Oracle ERP and Microsoft Office is required, and you will collaborate with quality, inventory control and manufacturing teams to maintain inventory accuracy and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in materials handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse ops.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Oracle or ERP systems experience.
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving systems is a plus.
• Forklift/pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and document incoming shipments.
• Perform accurate cycle counts and maintain inventory records.
• Pull, pack and stage materials for shipment to production.
• Process shipping labels and documentation for carriers.
• Load/unload materials with forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Deliver materials to production areas in a timely manner.
• Perform ERP transactions in Oracle.
• Support other materials-handling tasks as needed.
