Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Duncan, SC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle and distribute materials from shipping, conduct inventory, and prepare orders for shipment. You will operate a forklift safely and load customer orders onto trucks.

The role requires 1+ years in a warehouse, High School/GED, ability to read English procedures, and willingness to work overtime. You’ll maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• 2+ years of forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer to read and input data.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
• Use of a forklift about 30% or less.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull parts for production areas and stock parts in warehouse locations.
• Shipping/Receiving of outgoing & incoming materials.
• Picking and Packing (Medium and Large Pack).
• Maintain a clean/organized work area and equipment.
• Comply with safety requirements and company policies.
• Complete production and quality assurance forms.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
• Adhere to Quality Management System Requirements.
• Read procedures written in English.
