Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Material Support Person to move materials, stock inventory, and support production in Batesville, IN. You will receive shipments, stock, and prepare products for shipment while using forklifts and other equipment in a safe way.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain powered equipment certification. Prior warehouse or forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred experience in warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or forklift.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and be able to pass a forklift physical examination.
• Must obtain certification to operate powered industrial equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, parts, and products and place them in correct storage locations.
• Pick materials and products from inventory to support production and customer orders.
• Package, crate, wrap, and prepare products for domestic and international shipment.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, containers, and other transportation vehicles.
• Verify quantities and product information against shipping and receiving documents.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Deliver materials, parts, tools, and supplies to production areas as needed.
• Maintain production charts, logs, quality records, and other required paperwork.
• Identify damaged materials or potential production issues and communicate concerns promptly.
