Job summary

Batesville Tool & Die is seeking a Shipping/Receiving associate to safely move materials to and from production areas, supporting operations in a fast-paced metal stamping environment.

Ideal candidates will have a GED, experience operating powered industrial equipment, and strong English reading/writing skills with excellent attendance. Responsibilities include scanning barcodes, setting up stations, staging materials, and following OSHA safety protocols.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Equivalency diploma is required.
• Experience using powered industrial equipment/lifts/trucks.
• Ability to follow directions, read in English, write legibly, and perform basic math calculations.
• Excellent attendance and commitment to completing quality work within documented processes.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcode labels in and out of locations.
• Assist operations by setting up work stations with needed materials.
• Maintain organization in WIP storage and raw material areas.
• Stage materials for oncoming shifts.
• Perform safety checks/inspections on PIT equipment at the start of each shift.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards for PIT equipment operation.
• Utilize scanners and stretch wrap machines for materials handling.
• Comply with environmental policies and ISO standards.
