Job summary

CMC in Dallas is hiring a hands-on team member to support our construction reinforcement operations. You will sort and stock materials, operate a forklift, and assist in loading, unloading, and inventory tasks while providing friendly service to customers.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in construction or manufacturing, can lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in an outdoor/climate environment. We offer training, benefits from Day 1, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in construction and/or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders.
• Great organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required.
• Perform a wide range of physical activities including pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, climbing and kneeling.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in appropriate shipping/holding area.
• Assist in unloading and loading customers.
• Assist in performing inventory on material.
• Assist in filling work/shipping orders.
• Maintain work area and location organized and clean for orderliness at all times.
• Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization
