Job summary

Douglas Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Madison Heights, MI to support fabrication, welding and assembly cells.

You will stock parts, maintain finished part supermarkets, and coordinate replenishment with buyers and planners while upholding 5S and safety standards. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, operate a forklift and aerial lift license, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a current forklift and aerial lift platform license.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Stock FIFO and kitted carts with required parts based on production schedule.
• Restock fabricated and purchased parts in the finished parts supermarket.
• Maintain organization and accuracy of finished parts supermarkets.
• Coordinate replenishment activities to support production needs.
• Operate a hi-lo (forklift) to move, stock, or replenish materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
