ProCaps Laboratories in Alabama seeks a Material Handler to manage the receiving and movement of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods during the manufacturing process.

The role requires following cGMP practices, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with various teams. Overtime/weekend work may be required. The position offers a competitive starting wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months in a food manufacturing environment or related field preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions and cGMP.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
• Willing to work overtime or weekends with short notice.
• Excellent problem solving.
• Basic familiarity with computerized systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Receive and move raw materials, WIP, and finished product during manufacturing.
• Supply materials for scaling, blending, and mixing.
• Verify materials meet specifications and quality as called for by production.
• Provide packaging materials for finished product.
• Transport and stage WIP and finished product as directed.
• Maintain accurate inventory of materials and movements.
• Follow cGMP and maintain high quality workmanship.
• Maintain neat, concise records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
