Job summary

Graphic Products is seeking a Materials Handler to join our team. You will inspect incoming product, move materials and finished goods, perform cycle counts, log movements in our ERP system, and coordinate with departments to ensure item availability.

You will read data, respond to various situations, and learn new skills. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, conducting physical counts, ensuring correct FIFO, and collaborating with procurement to stock and distribute materials

Qualifications

• Experience as receiving clerk or similar position.
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
• Experience entering data in computer systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Basic math and recording abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Caliper use in inspection process.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspects products to ensure AQL quality standards.
• Maintains accurate records and assists in inventory control.
• Moves, stores, and handles materials in production facility.
• Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
• Data entry of product transfers and receipts.
• Physical inventory counts.
• Ensures FIFO when stocking and transferring.
• Collects and disposes of cardboard and strapping; maintains a safe, clean work environment.
• Pulls orders from inventory and delivers production materials and supplies as needed.
• Collaborates with procurement staff.

Graphic Products is accepting applications for a Materials Handler to join our team. Your main tasks will include inspecting incoming product, moving materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations throughout the facility, conducting cycle counts, logging material movements, maintaining accurate records within our ERP software, expediting urgent material needs, and coordinating with various departments to ensure availability of items needed. You will also be required to read and interpret data, respond effectively to various situations, and learn and apply new skills.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects products to ensure AQL Quality Standards.
• Maintains accurate records and assists in inventory control.
• Moves, stores, and handles materials in production facility.
• Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
• Data entry of product transfers and receipts.
• Physical Inventory Counts
• Ensures accurate FIFO when stocking and transferring.
• Collects and properly disposes of cardboard and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished products for final distribution.
• Collaborates with procurement staff.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position
• Experience in operating forklifts (forklift certified and/or willing to become certified)
• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
• Basic math and recording abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Great communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of Caliper use in inspection process
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at a time
