Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Material Handler 2 to receive, store and distribute materials and samples for Testing Operations. You will maintain inventory accuracy, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement projects as directed by management.

Role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, familiarity with ERP or LIMS, and a minimum of an Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of industry experience or a 4+ year high school/GED track. The role is US-based with no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of industry work experience.
• High School diploma or GED with 4+ years of industry work experience.
• Experience in life science or biotechnology industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle ERP or LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials, client samples and/or internal finished goods daily.
• Ensure inventory is stored and distributed with quality/regulatory compliance.
• Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counting and disposal.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed (hand truck, pallet jack, etc.).
• Perform inter-site transfers of samples or materials between departments.
