Position Summary

The Materials Handler will perform tasks associated with the material handling process at RealTruck, including receiving materials, stocking, and inventory control, primarily using powered industrial trucks.

Core Functions

1. Load and unload raw materials from trailers; verify accuracy against PO and packing slip.
2. Receive material deliveries, verify items and quantities to PO, and acquire proper paperwork.
3. Move materials to and from point of use, ensuring product quality is maintained.
4. Responsible for accurate takeaways or replacements of racks and totes.
5. Ensure product is properly labeled with part number, name, and quantity; rotate stock as needed.
6. Receive returned product; verify warranty status; update WMS; prepare for disposal or return to stock.
7. Maintain accurate inventory; conduct cycle counts; transfer product in system; investigate variances.
8. Train other employees, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and perform other duties as assigned.
9. Operate a company vehicle following traffic and transportation laws.
10. Communicate effectively with all departments and supervisors/leads.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6-12 months of related experience and/or training required.
• 2-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Required Licenses

• Driver’s license.

Skills, Abilities, And Knowledge

• Skilled in operating powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, tape guns.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and interpret safety rules, work instructions, and manuals.
• Capable of basic math, reading, and writing routine reports.
