Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Materials Handler for the 1st shift at their Hamilton facility. You will move, store, and track raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production and maintain accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years material handling or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Following all company safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials against purchase orders.
  • Transporting materials to storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Preparing and staging materials for production according to work orders.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing cycle counts.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks and preparing outbound shipments.
  • Reporting discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized to support a safe environment.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Working up to 10 hours per day and weekends as needed.
  • Holding a valid driver’s license.
  • Passing a background check and drug screening.

Job Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of raw materials, components, and finished goods within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures timely delivery of materials to production areas and maintains accurate inventory records to support continuous operations.

Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include
