Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to ensure accurate receiving, safe product movement, cycle counting and timely shipping in salable condition. Job Overview

The role of the Warehouse Associate I, is responsible for providing the highest level of quality and service to our customers. Responsibilities include accurate and timely receiving inventory, product movement, cycle counting and shipping orders accurately in a timely manner and in a salable condition. While performing duties, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for operating lift trucks and warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

A Day In The Life
  • Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment to ensure safety and security of all employees.
  • Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order to ensure little to no accidents.
  • Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur to minimize safety risk.
  • Perform assigned warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure the highest levels of safety and quality.
  • Follow all visual aids in order to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Contribute process suggestions to continuously improve warehouse operations
  • Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor to correct issue.
  • Fully Contribute to continuous improvement events to improve operations
  • Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Ability to perform work for a maximum of nine hours per day (1st and 2nd Shift), 12 hours for (3rd and A shift).
  • Ability to lift 35lbs from floor to waist and waist to floor.
  • Ability to stand/walk for a maximum of 9 hours a day.
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime (9 hours per weekday, 6 hours on Saturday) as needed.
  • Able to work heights up to 15ft.

  • Contribute to the team effort by being flexible to adjust to departmental needs as they arise.
  • Knowledge of appropriate handling, safety, and warehouse standards.
  • Ability to handle regular job problems within a defined area of responsibility using basic problem-solving skills.
