Job Description
Responsible for receiving, issuing, transferring, and maintaining all product inventory. Performs appropriate system transactions to document all inventory movement and keeps associated files up to date and compliant with all applicable company and industry standards.
Requirements and Responsibilities
- Issues and distributes component parts to manufacturing.
- Stages and coordinates items for production assembly.
- Lists and issues production travelers for subassembly production.
- Receives and stores incoming materials into applicable locations.
- Performs cycle counts and reconciles counts per schedule.
- Records all inventory transactions using company systems, including SAP.
- Expedites customer orders, including picking items, creating handling units, and posting goods issues.
Additional Responsibilities
- Complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and related regulations.
- Completes all planned quality and compliance training within deadlines.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Demand and Inventory Planning Manager or Materials Management Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of materials handling experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with inventory management systems; SAP knowledge is helpful.
- Proficiency with PC and MS Office suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
- Physical demands include lifting/carrying over 25 pounds, bending/stooping/kneeling for 4 hours daily, standing/sitting/walking for 8 hours, and pushing/pulling over 50 pounds.
