Job Title: Material Handler (Receiving) - $19/hr

Job Description: Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate material handling equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and hand trucks.
2. Move materials to correct inventory location.
3. Move completed production items to inventory storage locations.
4. Replenish production with materials.
5. Unload finished products and raw materials from trucks.
6. Check incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy (part number and quantity).
7. Inspect shipment condition and report damages.
8. Prepare and load scrap shipments.
9. Follow all safety rules and regulations.
10. Report unsafe acts to supervisor.
11. Clean and maintain inventory storage areas.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of receiving and/or material handling experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• Successful completion of forklift operator training.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and read instructions, packing lists, and purchase orders.
• Proficient in basic computer skills/data entry.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more frequently.

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Shift: 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed
