Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations at our Charlotte facility. You will help ensure accurate, safe, and timely movement of materials to support production and customer commitments.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a safety-focused mindset in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting shipments, processing ERP transactions, and handling outbound shipments with

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• US citizenship required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, bending and twisting.
• Proficient with basic computer apps and data entry.
• Attention to detail and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Occasional overtime including evenings and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments per PO and shipping docs.
• Verify packing slips, bills of lading, and contents; resolve discrepancies.
• Record material receipts and inventory transactions in ERP timely.
• Prepare, package, and verify outbound shipments for safe delivery.
• Operate forklifts and other handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate shipping/receiving/inventory records and document retention.
