Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA forklift operator certification is required or provided by employer.
• HAZMAT handling certification for facilities storing hazardous materials.
• OSHA 1910.178 equipment certifications for reach truck and order picker.
• Experience with WMS/ERP transaction processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping using forklifts, reach trucks, or pallet jacks.
• Receive inbound shipments and verify counts against purchase orders.
• Pick materials according to kanban or production schedules and deliver to floor locations.
• Stage finished goods and load outbound trucks per BOL instructions.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances.
• Maintain organized storage locations using 5S principles.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage and labeling; report discrepancies.
• Operate powered industrial trucks safely per OSHA requirements.
• Dispose of packaging materials in designated areas.
• Report stock issues to material control supervisor.
