Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Spanish Fork, Utah.

Under general supervision, you will coordinate incoming materials through inspection, stockroom and production, perform loading and unloading, counting, weighing and conveying materials, and log orders from multiple sources. You will work with planners to assist with work orders, prepare stock use reports, and ensure on-time delivery of parts.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of production/material control experience.
• Understanding of material control concepts and standards in stockroom procedures.
• Customer-focused with ability to identify deviations, analyze issues and interpret data.
• Experience operating forklifts and handling equipment in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Experience with shipping and receiving, loading/unloading trucks, and verifying shipments.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor inventory and work orders; ensure traceability of material and/or parts.
• Coordinate with departments to support material requirements.
• Restock inventory on shop floor to maintain proper levels.
• Update daily movement of parts and report back orders or shortages.
• Deliver materials to designated production areas as needed.
• Review material requisitions for proper allocation.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Process vendor shipper paperwork and ensure proper QA/stockroom handling.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with laws and company policies.
• Work safely following operating procedures and practices.
