Job summary

ITW Deltar Fasteners in Frankfort, IL, is seeking a Material Handler to ensure materials, quantities, and conditioning are ready for production and to verify the central material handling system operates efficiently.

You will support injection molding, mix resins and colorants per specs, complete logs, labels, inventory records, and maintain cleanliness of the central handling system, with 12-hour shifts and safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Safely transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Communicate effectively with operators, technicians and maintenance teams.
• Proficient with basic computer use and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Verify proper operation of the central material handling system.
• Supply injection molding machines with correct materials to maintain production.
• Mix resins and colorants according to production specs.
• Complete logs, material labels and inventory records accurately.
• Clean hoppers, dryers, grinders and filters.
• Identify and resolve material flow or contamination issues quickly.
• Stage materials for the incoming shift.
• Maintain and clean central material handling system filters.
• Verify incoming raw materials match order quantities.
