Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. in Lockport, Illinois seeks a dependable Material Handler to support a busy manufacturing operation. You will keep machine hoppers supplied with materials, assist with molding and assembly, perform material and color changes, and provide support across the production floor.

This Temp-to-Hire role offers a night shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM), Monday–Friday, at $17.00/hour. A high school diploma and forklift ability are required; experience with raw materials and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Injection molding experience preferred.
• Raw material inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Keep machine hoppers supplied with material.
• Monitor machines and production quantities.
• Assist with material and color changes.
• Weigh and transfer materials/WIP.
• Complete transfer tickets and production reports.
• Operate dryers, grinders, blenders, and related equipment.
• Move finished, audited, assembly, and quarantined products to designated areas.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
