Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Materials Flow Supervisor to lead a team responsible for the efficient movement of materials, inbound receiving, and outbound shipments. This role supports production with accurate inventory and data-driven decisions.

The supervisor will mentor associates and drive safety training across material handling operations. The ideal candidate will have warehousing/material flow experience, familiarity with dangerous goods handling, and a passion for sustainability.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing and material flow.
• Experience storing and transporting dangerous goods preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of associates to ensure shipping and receiving requirements are met.
• Ensure safety compliance and training related to material handling equipment.
• Manage internal material flow to support production requirements.
• Receive inbound shipments from suppliers of raw materials and maintenance parts.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, material availability, and replenishment.
• Coordinate monthly physical inventory audits with the inventory control team.
• Develop material flow strategies to improve efficiency.
• Manage data in the Warehouse Management System and generate reports for decision making.
