Job summary

Redwood Materials in the United States is seeking a Lead Material Flow Specialist to guide daily warehouse operations, coordinating personnel, inventory, and material movement to meet production goals. You will act as a floor-level leader, mentoring associates, driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and partnering with Production, Logistics, and Quality to keep operations aligned.

The position is full-time with compensation commensurate with experience and a focus on sustainability

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or logistics roles with material flow responsibility.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and material handling processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem solving, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop associates while fostering teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow, staffing, and priorities to support production and material flow.
• Lead and support warehouse associates, promoting safety, quality, and accountability.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and support adjustments.
• Serve as primary contact for operational issues, shipping requests, and cross-functional coordination.
• Identify and resolve process, inventory, and quality issues and escalate as needed.
• Help develop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Train, mentor, and coach associates on safety and equipment operation.
• Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Quality, and other departments for alignment.
• Report performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and warehouse standards.
