Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is hiring a Material Flow Specialist to optimize the movement of materials for production, receive raw materials, and prepare finished goods shipments. You will lead safety-focused operations and coordinate with supervisors to balance workloads across receiving, inventory control, and loading teams.

You will also manage warehouse data, run reports, and drive improvements in material flow while operating reach trucks and forklifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leading a culture of safety compliance in material handling.
• Coordinate task distribution with the supervisor.
• Train and lead material handlers in receiving, inventory control, or loading.
• Pick and load inventory for production areas.
• Manage data within a Warehouse Management System and create reports.
• Establish and model quality control mechanisms.
• Operate PIT equipment such as reach truck and forklift.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Support internal material flow to meet production needs.
• Receive inbound shipments of raw materials and equipment.
• Lead physical inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Develop material flow strategies to improve efficiency.
