Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. seeks a Supply Coordinator in Valley, Nebraska to establish and continuously improve material flow across Global Engineered Manufactured Solutions.

You will manage inventory control, purchasing, receiving, staging, and shipping to support fabrication, assembly, and machine build, coordinating with Engineering, suppliers, and freight carriers. The role requires hands-on operation of material handling equipment and the development of SOPs for inventory and shipping.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Experience with ordering, receiving, and shipping materials, including coordination with suppliers and freight carriers.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks) or obtain certification.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in both office and shop-floor environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standardized inventory control processes for accurate tracking and storage.
• Own all material ordering activities and follow-up on open orders.
• Process incoming work into IFS and prepare process documents for in-house or vendor work.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and conformance to specs.
• Coordinate outgoing shipments and maintain accurate inventory records.
