Job summary

JCB Manufacturing, Inc. in Pooler, GA, is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer to design, optimize, and sustain efficient material flow systems across our facility.

You will lead cross‑functional teams to ensure material availability, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement within production, procurement, and logistics. The role emphasizes PFEP ownership, supermarket design, AGV/tugger routes, and integration with fabrication, paint, and assembly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, logistics engineering, or material flow optimization, preferably in automotive sector.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, PFEP management, value stream mapping, and material flow design.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, layout design, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis or simulation tools (Excel, PowerBI, discrete-event simulation preferred).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
• Must pass drug screens, background checks, and pre-employment tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and sustain material flow systems across the facility.
• Provide technical leadership across manufacturing engineering, production, logistics and supply chain.
• Lead CI initiatives to reduce logistics cost and improve throughput.
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and IE to align material strategies with plans.
• Develop and maintain PFEPs, logistics work instructions, and layout drawings.
• Use ERP/MRP, MES, and logistics systems to maintain material parameters and KPIs.
